I currently had my wisdom teeth pulled. I had gone in to a new dentist with a toothache. I was
informed that i needed all my wisdom teeth taken out, so i said ok. They took xrays of me and then
took out all four wisdom teeth on the spot. Two days later my throat closed up and i was
hospitalized and put into surgery, due to infection that had spread through my throat. Now i have
HUGE medical bills coming in. Do i have a case? should i contact a lwayer?

Infection claims are very difficult to win in the medical malpractice context. Sometimes, infections just happen following surgical procedures. You would need an expert to review your records and give an opinion that you would not have suffered your injuries but for the negligence of the dentist who removed your wisdom teeth. Getting an expert to review your medical records can be expensive, but if you think that it is worth pursuing, that would be your first step. You may want to talk with an experienced personal injury lawyer to get a better feel for whether you should pursue this claim.
