My son was involved in a school bus accident in August 2008. Is it too late to sue?

A. 

I am a lawyer in Texas, so the law may be different in your state. The statute of limitations for a negligence claim in Texas is two years. However, when the at-fault party is a city, county, or school district, there are special requirements about giving notice to the entity in order to comply with governmental immunity defenses.
