do i have a case to sue my employer, even if work comp settles with me?

Additional Details:
I had a back injury while at work, and my boss was there present at time of work and i notified him
and told him i hurt my back i was trying to put my tools away and he got mad at me for it and told
me i had to rake out gravel, which ended up being for about 2.5-3 hrs. and then next morning made me
work for 7 hrs when i finally couldnt take it anymore i told him i was going to the dr. i ended up
with a 2nd degree sprain and a bulging l5/s1 disc with nerve impingement, causing pain down right
leg and severe lower back pain. i went to chiro but did not help so got reffered to an orthopedic dr
that put me on 6 weeks pt and that didnt help now going thru cortisone injections (2 to date) and
the 1st did not help at all, did not see any difference, the 2nd was on wednesday today is saturday
and it feels worse now from it. do i have a case against my employer for making me work after i told
him i was injured?
