Run over by a truck while on Motorycle

More details to this question:
I was at a stop in the road and I was run over from behind by a truck driver not looking where he was going. I miraculously sustained no life-threatening injuries, but I did receive major whiplash (enough to knock me unconscious), and now have a great deal of chronic pain in my neck and lower back area, and a bit of memory loss. I am a 28 year old student, father/husband, and also the owner of a bakery, so I have had to hire more help and purchase equipment to pick up the slack because I cannot work as much as I could before the accident. My wife has had to take over many jobs at my store, which has forced us to leave our son with his grandparents on a daily basis. I am wondering what the logical amount for a settlement would be. Because this has been an absolute disaster! I am well aware that the person's insurance will probably not accept my offer, but I at least wanted to go before them with a fair estimate before I hired an attorney to file a lawsuit.

There is no way to tell someone what their case is worth.  There are way too mnay factors to take into consideration.  But, I can tell you that your case is not worth much at all unless you have an experience car accident lawyer working for you.

Your best bet would be to call and get a free consultation on your case.  Then you can make an informed decision about how to proceed.
