October 18, 2009 (by Horatio Algren) According to reports a fatal accident
closed the southbound lanes of the San Joaquin Hills 73 Toll Road. The
accident occurred at approximately 6:24 p.m. in the vicinity north of
Laguna Canyon Road in Irvine according to the Orange County Sheriff’s
Office.

The identity of the 54 year old San Juan Capistrano
man that was fatally injured in the crash has not been released
according to the Orange County Coroner’s Office pending notification of
his next of kin. According to the California Highway Patrol the south
pound lanes of the San Joaquin Hills Toll Road were closed after the
fatal accident, which is still under investigation.
