In 2007, the Michigan Supreme Court discarded the "Discovery Rule" applicable to accrual of personal injury cases in Trentadue v. Buckler Automatic Lawn Sprinkler Co, 479 Mich 378 (2007). That was then, this is now, and a new Court with a less conservative majority has agreed to hear oral arguments in another discovery rule cased, Colainni v. Stuart Frankel Dev Cop, Inc, Dkt. 139350.
