Train accident attorney, Ehline Law, is now reporting that least 4 passengers and the conductor, whom witnesses and passengers stated his head was down at the time of the crash.
The Saturday afternoon train crash that occurred on the San Francisco West Portal Station outbound platform
injured approximately 44 people. So far, at least four passengers were severely injured during the collision between the two light trains.
At
the time of the crash the one train was stationary, while the other
train on which the conductor is said to have his head down plowed into
the waiting train.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation by
personal injury attorneys,
as well as the National Traffic Administration, and it has been
reported that the passengers, along with the operator of the train that
were severely injured did not sustain fatal injuries.
