Attorney didn't file suit now statue of limitations is past

More details to this question:
I have tried to work with the attorney group i signed a contract with for my vaginal mesh injury that required pelvic floor reconstruction surgery and a year of horrible daily pain. I was constantly reassured they were working on my case for a year when come to find out after they changed hands three times no one even ordered my medical records. Now the statue of limitations is beyond for my state since i had the vaginal mesh surgery in 2011 and the last repair in 2/2012. Am I just out of luck and the Vaginal Mesh company doesn't have to be held liable for the misery they put me thru? Makes me wonder if the Vaginal mesh company doesn't hire some attorneys to just put the case on hold till the patient can't file against them???

If the statute of limitations has passed, and your attorney(s) were negligent in allowing that to happen, you may have a claim for legal malpractice.  If you have specific questions about your case, I would be happy to discuss those with you and give you a free assessment of your case.

Have you been injured in accident that was someone else's fault? Has a doctor's mistake caused long-term health issues? Have you been hurt by a defective product? Under state personal injury laws, you may be entitled to compensation if you are hurt as a result of another person or company's negligent, reckless or deliberate actions. Personal injury lawyers work with the victims of all kinds of accidents, including auto accidents, motorcycle crashes, truck crashes, boating accidents, plane crashes, workplace injuries and railroad accidents. You should also hire a personal injury attorney if you've been injured as a result of dental or medical malpractice, a defective product, nursing home abuse, a slip and fall accident on someone else's property or a dog bite.
